GAIA x Food Life Donation Drive

On 2nd of May 2021, GAIA collaborated with Foodlife_Bn in distributing food and other necessities to 40 families across Kampung Ayer and other parts in Brunei-Muara. Foodlife is an initiative that support the needy and underprivileged family through the provision of food packs and other essential items on a continuous basis rather than a seasonal or one-off donation.

A few weeks prior to the drive, GAIA members made a call for donation to close friends and family to donate food and other essential items such as soap, rice, cooking oil etc. The donation drive started in the early morning on Sunday, starting with an HSE Brief and splitting into two group to distribute the pack by efficiently by land and water.

We hope this donation drive provided a great opportunity for our GenGAIA youth to give back to the community as well as be more active in volunteerism. Lastly we would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who has participated in donating and we hope they be blessed in this holy month of Ramadhan.
